Modeled after a brazier used in the castle of Nuremberg, this was a ubiquitous fixture in any torture chamber. It simply held the flames that were used in any manner of tortures – from burning flesh to heating or melting irons.
Trivia & Comment
The ‘basic torture chamber set’ would definitely include a brazier. In addition to heating the implements and the chamber, the glowing, red hot coals would also provide the appropriate atmosphere.
